The objectives of the Public Affairs Department are very clear and simply stated: To raise awareness of citizenship, crime prevention and safety (personal, auto, bicycle, etc.) The goal of the department this year will be to focus on these objectives and plan as many simple projects as possible which will educate club members, our families, and community members about these important topics. A few of the organizations that we will support this year that focus on these issues are:
DASI – Sussex County’s domestic abuse shelter
NORWESCAP – Court system involving children
NHTSA – National Highway Traffic Safety Administration
WIMSA – Women in Military Service for America
