If you know that you should be devoting some time to nurturing your creative spirit, then please join us at the Art Department!
The focus of the Art Department will be to provide activities for the club encompassing three areas:
- Creative trips and evenings out for adults;
- Creative activities and events to enjoy with your children; and
- Creative events and projects to serve our community.
Activities:
- Art workshops for adults – faux finishing, stenciling, etc.
- Chester antique and crafts excursion
- Soho art galleries and shopping excursion
- Outings to decorator show homes in our area
- Workshop with local interior designer
- Cooking or cake decorating workshop
- Home tour and cookies exchange/contest
- An evening out to the movies or local theater
- Progressive gourmet dinner/wine tasting
- Crafts at children’s holiday parties – Christmas, Halloween and Easter
- Children’s crafts – Father’s Day, pumpkin painting, Valentine’s Day
- Monthly kids/adult craft and web sites in newsletter
- Ideas for local, upcoming art outings
- Support of local youth art month
- Wish Tree ornaments
- President’s scrapbook
