On Saturday, June 14, 2008, the Junior Woman's Club of Sparta in conjunction with the Sparta Parks and Recreation Department will be hosting the 33rd Annual Sparta Day. Sparta Day is a rain or shine craft fair and family festival that has become not only a fundraiser for local charities, but, with over 100 vendors, rides, entertainment and food, it has also become a much anticipated community event.
This family event receives wide publicity in all local publications and media. It attracts thousands of people from Sparta and local communities.
Last year due to donations from Sparta-area businesses, the Junior Woman's Club of Sparta was able to offer the children's entertainment free of charge to the community. The designated area of "Kids' Country" consisted of rides, activities and demonstrations for children of all ages. It was a huge success!
In order to accomplish this goal again, our club is asking for assistance with this vital community event. Please consider becoming a vendor at Sparta Day or becoming a sponsor for Kids' Country.
